Obtain Software

Because CASES and SDA are developed and supported within the University of California, the software is not purchased.  Instead, it is obtained by joining the Association for Computer-assisted Surveys (ACS), which requires a minimum one-year membership agreement.  

In addition to the initial software, ACS members receive new releases and support for the software on a continuing basis at no additional cost during the membership period.

Annual membership fees are based on the estimated usage for the year.  After a minimum of three contiguous years of membership, you may continue to use the software at no additional fee. However, you relinquish all benefits of ACS membership including CSM staff consultation and technical assistance.
